Adam's Leaf

Adam's Leaf is a urinal screen designed for men's restrooms. The leaf shape has a high central ridge and angled edges that deflect the urine stream and prevent splash-back onto the user and the floor. Urine is not retained on the screen, so added scents are not needed. Adam's Leaf fits nearly any urinal size and stays effective for up to six months, which reduces material and cleaning labor costs. The screen is made by high pressure injection molding from recycled plastic with an additive that supports biodegradation after use.

50 Liters

50 Liters is a shower head designed to make water use visible during bathing. A clear plastic storage tank is placed in the middle of the refined copper body. Water is injected into the tank in direct proportion to the water leaving the shower head, so the marked scale shows consumption in real time. A full tank indicates that use has passed fifty liters. A blue gradient on the tank suggests that resources are reduced when showers are long. The tank drains through a hole at the bottom when the shower is closed. No electricity is needed.

Visualization, sanitary faucet

sanitary faucet

Sanitary faucet is a minimalist faucet designed to make water use visible. The outlet works directly as the switch. Pressing the outlet down and tilting it opens the faucet, and lifting the outlet back to level closes it. Water continues to rinse the hands while the faucet is being closed, so the hands stay clean. A glass tube stores enough water for one person to wash their hands, which allows the amount of water used to be seen. The glass tube also slows the flow of water. The faucet is made of cast iron pipe and glass.

The design combines a sculptural form with advanced engineering and is made from Neolast, a composite material that allows unexpected texture and rich, saturated color. Striking angles and a bold Haptic Orange finish depart from traditional expectations for a faucet. A 3D printed internal waterway creates a sheet flow of water. An embossed cast iron escutcheon plate refers to a long history of material innovation. The faucet measures 300 mm in width, 207 mm in depth and 135 mm in height.
